No Arrests Made Yet In Wesley Chapel Shooting
The victim has been released from the hospital.

As Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies continue to investigate a shooting that occurred in Wesley Chapel on Tuesday, the victim in the case has been released from the hospital.
According to sheriff’s office spokesman Kevin Doll, the incident took place in the Northwood subdivision around 8 p.m. June 21. Three men were playing basketball when another three men approached them, Doll said. An argument between the men occurred and the original three basketball players got into two cars to leave.
The three suspects then followed. Three shots were fired. One hit a nearby garage door. Another hit the bumper of a car. The third went into the victim’s car door and struck him in the side. The shooting took place at near the corner of La Jolla Way and Northwood Palms Road inside the subdivision.

Doll said the victim, a 20-year-old Wesley Chapel man, was released from the hospital. He must still undergo surgery to have the bullet removed from his side, Doll added.
The case remains under investigation.
