A roundup of recent crimes reported to Tampa police.

Auto Burglaries at Cypress Run

Someone burglarized three vehicles on Wednesday at the Cypress Run apartment complex, according to police.

The incident occured in the overnight hours at the complex on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard. A GPS system, digital camera, surround-sound speakers and an amp were reported stolen. A plastic glove found at the scene is being processed by authorities and “management has hired security to patrol the complex,” according to the report.

Also, three vehicles at the complex were broken into on Monday. A backpack, iPod speakers and a Leatherman tool were reported missing.

Engine Part Stolen

A catalytic converter was reported stolen Wednesday from a 2004 Toyota Tacoma parked at Lowe’s Home Improvement, Commerce Palms Drive, according to police.

It is unclear the reported value of the automobile part.

 

Home Burglary in Bainbridge

Someone stole two flatscreen TVs and two laptop computers from a home on Bramwell Way in the Bainbridge subdivision on Wednesday, according to police.

One of the TVs was later found stashed in the woods. The thief gained entry to the home by prying open a rear sliding door, according to police.

 

Auto Stolen Then Recovered

Someone stole a 2002 Dodge Intrepid from 11501 Bruce B. Downs Blvd. on Monday, according to police.

The vehicle was later found by authorities on North 15th Street with the keys inside and the engine still running.
