Roundup of Recent Crime in New Tampa
These crimes reportedly occurred between Oct. 28 and Nov. 1.

The following incidents were reported to Tampa Police:
$13K Home Burglary

Someone stole $13,000 in personal property from a Catlin Drive residence sometime during the weekend, according to police.
Entry was gained by breaking a section of glass on a rear pool access door. Reported missing was a 12-gauge Remington shotgun, a 50-inch flatscreen TV and assorted jewelry.

Auto Burglary at Cypress Run
An unlocked car at Building 8 at the Cypress Run apartment complex was burglarized on Saturday (Oct. 29).
Reported missing was an Asus laptop computer. No value was given for the device.
GPS Lifted From Hampton Inn Lot
Someone broke into a Ford F-250 parked at the Hampton Inn on Hidden Parkway and stole a GPS system, according to police.
The incident occurred on Saturday (Oct. 29).
Muvico Car Theft
Someone broke into a vehicle parked at the Muvico theater on Highwoods Preserve early this morning (Nov. 1) and stole a hookah pipe valued at $100, according to police.
Entrance was gained by smashing the rear-side vent glass.
