Authorities Searching For Area Man
Jose Fernandez never showed up for work and left a note alluding to possible suicide, authorities say.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in finding a local man who went missing Monday after leaving a note alluding to possible suicide.
Jose Manuel Fernandez, 52, of Sweetwater Lake Drive, reportedly left his home three days ago but never showed up at his job at an area Starbucks, according to a news release from authorities. His wife told detectives he didn’t bring any of his personal belongings with him when he left.
Fernandez is about 5-feet, 7-inches tall with a thin build, gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing tan pants, a black polo shirt and black shoes.
