Business Broken Into

Someone smashed the front door glass at Salon at the Walk, Highwoods Preserve, and made off with a Dell CPU and a register containing $10, according to police. The incident occurred in the pre-dawn hours on Saturday.

200-pound Safe Carried Away

A 200-pound safe containing jewelry, corporate documents, vehicle titles and $20,000 in cash was stolen from a Broadoak Drive residence in the Lancaster subdivision, according to police. Entry was gained by smashing the glass sliding door leading to the master bedroom. The incident occurred sometime between Friday and Sunday.

Someone burglarized a 2007 Scion parked at Amberly Drive and Burchette Road sometime between late Saturday night and early Sunday morning. An iPod, $200 in cash and and a Wells Fargo checkbook were reported missing.

Ashington Home Burglary

Someone shattered a rear sliding door of a residence and made off with costume jewelry and a pillowcase, according to police. The incident occurred on Turnbridge Court in the Ashington subdivision sometime between Friday and Sunday.
