Home Burglary at Cypress Run (7/18/11)

An unknown male broke into a first-floor apartment at the Cypress Run apartment complex but ran off after the tenant and her boyfriend woke up, it was reported to police.

The incident occurred in the early-morning hours Monday. The suspect cut the screen leading to the porch, then gained entry through a sliding door. A police K-9 was unable to locate the suspect.

Authorities said the incident is nearly identical to a burglary that occurred on July 1 in which a suspect was tentatively identified, according to police. 

Chevy Stolen (7/15/11-7/18/11)

Someone stole a 2002 Chevy Impala from Bristol Place Apartments, Amberly Drive, last weekend, it was reported to police. The silver four-door has 22-inch rims. No value was given for the vehicle.

Auto Burglaries (7/18/11)

Someone broke the windows of four vehicles and stole assorted electronics, including iPods and a GPS system. The incidents occurred early Monday morning at the Eagles Point and Cypress Run apartment complexes.
