Roundup of Recent Crime in New Tampa

The following crimes were recently reported to Tampa Police:

• Three juveniles from Freedom High School were arrested after trying to steal golf carts from Camden Live Oaks. Police said a witness saw three juveniles at Camden Live Oaks on Feb. 22 pushing golf carts out of a maintenance garage in an attempt to steal them. The witness yelled at the youths who took off running. An investigation led to their identification and arrest.

• Two unlocked vehicles were burglarized between Feb. 19 and Feb. 20 at Heritage Isles. Reported stolen: two GPS systems, a Cannon camera, a watch, an NFL cap and a realtor box key.
