Intruder Swipes Expensive Jewelry, Watches From Tampa Home: Deputies
The male suspect was carrying a reflective backpack and wearing gloves and a mask, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL – A home on Westshire Drive in Tampa was burglarized Friday evening by a male suspect who reportedly smashed a glass door on the second floor of the home to gain entry and made off with pricey jewelry and Rolex watches, according to authorities.
Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies said the suspect was 5 feet, 10 inches tall, about 160 pounds and was wearing a T-shirt, cargo shorts, black shoes, a light-colored hat, a dark mask and light-colored gloves. He was also carrying a book bag with reflective material.
The incident occurred at 9:02 p.m. on the 13000 block of Westshire Drive, and the suspect fled on foot around the south side of the property, where the victim's camera surveillance system lost sight of him, deputies said.
