Silver Alert Issued for New Tampa Man

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking help to locate a missing New Tampa man.

According to a media release, Jose Latorre, 85, was last seen Dec. 21 when he left his New Tampa home around 5 p.m. to go to the store. Latorre suffers from dementia and left his home without a wallet, ID or cash, the release said.

Latorre was last seen driving a 2008 Cadillac CTS that is silver in color. Its Florida tag number is 462WJ.

This is not the first time the New Tampa man has disappeared from his home. In March 2011, he was found in Citrus County. In September 2011, he was located in Lake City, the sheriff's office said.
