On a sweltering summer day, what do YOU want to do? If you're like us, we just want to slip into a cool pool and relax. Dogs aren't any different and this is an inexpensive treat when the temps are soaring. We wouldn't advise pool play during full sun because your pets can sunburn (yes, they can!) but an hour play in the late afternoon ~ maybe when you get home from work~ would be perfect!
Don't worry if your hound takes a few minutes to figure out what this new recreational activity is~ he'll get it and when he does, you're going to be his superstar of the day. Remember to supervise just as you would a child and let the excitement begin!
