Tampa Bay Rebels Down Palm Beach

The Tampa Bay Rebels defeated the Palm Beach Knights 137-103 on Saturday, May 24th at the Mandel Jewish Community Center in Palm Beach.  The Rebels took control early as Brandon Davis knocked down 5 of his 9 three-pointers on the day in the opening quarter, powering the Rebels to a 30-16 advantage.  Palm Beach made a strong run in the 2nd quarter to trim the lead to 10 points, but Tampa Bay countered with a run of their own to head into halftime with a 68-44 lead, and never looked back as they secured their 2nd road victory of the season.

In total, 7 Tampa Bay Rebels reached double figures, led by Brandon Davis with 28 points, who shot 9 for 15 from downtown.  Jermaine Bell added 21 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 blocks on the day.  Joe Katuka added 14 points and 14 rebounds, while Spenser Mitchell also scored 14 points and collected 12 rebounds.  Robert Fuchs drained 5 shots from long range on his way to 15 points, and Elijah Smith scored 13 points, including two spectacular dunks, while also grabbing 8 rebounds.  Jamison Clark also finished in double figures with 13 points for the Rebels.
