A 64-year-old city man recently claimed a July 27 MEGA MONEY™ jackpot of $1.2 million at Florida Lottery headquarters. Douglas Ellison purchased the Quick Pick ticket at the .
"The winner chose the one-time, lump-sum payment option for his winnings, in the amount of $1,014,268.35," a Florida Lottery news release stated.
No additional information about Ellison was released by the Florida Lottery.
