Tampa Premium Outlets Virtual Job Fair Announced

With more than 800 positions up for grabs, Tampa Premium Outlets’ upcoming job fair is one of the hottest tickets in town for job seekers.

CareerSource Pasco Hernando, in fact, estimates that as many as 2,000 people will turn out for the in-person job fair set to take place Aug. 27 at Embassy Suites, 3705 Spectrum Blvd. The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will provide hiring employers a chance to meet with applicants in person before the new mall at 2398 Cypress Creek Blvd. opens its doors in October.

With such stores as Brooks Brothers, Nike, Fossil and Coach already lined up for the new mall, interest in the job openings is high, CareerSource wrote in an email to media. That’s why the organization is also staging a virtual career fair for those unable to attend the Aug. 27 event. The virtual job fair option runs from Aug. 24-28.

“The virtual job fair is a convenient way for job seekers to explore new job openings from the comfort of their own computer,” CareerSource’s email stated. “During CareerSource Pasco Hernando’s virtual job fair, job seekers can feel free to browse for jobs at their leisure, introduce themselves to prospective employers, review job descriptions and discover new employment opportunities.”

The new mall is set to open Oct. 29.
