(ATLANTA) October 2014 -- Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint, pioneers of the premium fast-casual pizza concept, announced today that it has selected Tampa and Lakeland, FL as two of its top growth markets. The personalized pizza franchise, known for its chef-driven recipes, pizza variety and fresh, premium quality ingredients, was created by the former co-founder of Moe’s Southwest Grill. Uncle Maddio’s plans to develop a minimum of 20 new restaurants in Tampa and two restaurants in Lakeland under franchisee ownership.

The pizza franchise recently opened locations in the Washington, D.C. area, the booming oil and gas market of Minot, ND, and will soon open its first units in Texas, Colorado and Montana. The restaurant plans for an additional 10 units to open by the end of 2014; Uncle Maddio’s anticipates more than 200 percent growth for 2015.
