Trino is our September Cat of the Month. She’s a five-year-old brown shorthaired tabby. Trino is fond of bird, squirrel, frog, bug, lizard (ok you get it) watching from the window as well as the occasional scratch. She gets along with other cats and also enjoys her alone time. Founded in 2010, Cat Crusaders’ mission is to rescue, vaccinate, spay or neuter and find loving-adoptive homes for stray and neglected cats. Whenever possible, Cat Crusaders will assist cats that are unable to remain in their homes with their owners. With more than 30 fosters and 70 volunteers, Cat Crusaders averages nine adoptions per week with approximately 1100 adoptions since inception. Cat Crusaders seeks to increase public awareness of the companion animal overpopulation issue and provide solutions to end the killing of adoptable animals in the Tampa Bay area and beyond.
