Visiting Artist Lecture by Mark Koven: Between Form and Function-Collaborative Initiatives in Art & Science

With past work that combines science and technology with art, Mark Lee Koven will discuss research that looks at true collaborative initiatives in which art provides help in finding solutions to global issues such as: renewable energies, conservation, and climate change.  He will present his experience in navigating the various issues or obstacles often found when crossing boundaries, as well as complications in acceptance of research across disciplines.
