The trend for the remaining 2014 year, and the coming new year, shows most employers are hiring temporary workers; and the trend is growing stronger according to a survey by the on-line employment website, CareerBuilder.com. The number of temporary employees has increased by more than 40 percent since 2011, to about 2.53 million Americans.
