• St. Johns County reverses course and denies 4,000-home development near Nocatee (jaxtoday.org) — St. Johns County commissioners have rejected a proposal for more than 4,000 new homes just north of the Nocatee community along the Intracoastal Waterway, reversing an earlier non-decision that would have meant automatic approval. The 3–2 vote blocks an agricultural enclave designation that could have bypassed public hearings, while a smaller 300-home project elsewhere in the county did win approval the same day.
