ā¢ Sarasota County advances 5,700-home project near Palmer Ranch (yourobserver.com) ā A massive 5,700-home Palmer Ranch East project is moving forward just east of the Iā75 and State Road 681 interchange near Nokomis, after unanimous approval from Sarasota County commissioners. Over the next 20 years it could add nearly 1.5 million square feet of commercial, office, and light industrial space, potentially bringing thousands of jobs and new business opportunities within a short drive of Nokomis neighborhoods.
