• Public Parking Garage No. 2 now open for use in downtown Ocala (352today.com) — Downtown Ocala drivers now have a major new option, with Parking Garage No. 2 open between W. Broadway and W. Fort King and offering free spaces for about 800 vehicles. Opened September 8, the garage is within easy walking distance of the Historic Downtown Square, shopping, dining, and events, with entrances on SW Second and SW Third avenues.
   

• USA Team Selection Begins for Newly Created Pan American Championships in 2027 (dressage-news.com) — Ocala's World Equestrian Center will host the inaugural Pan American Dressage Championship in late January 2027, and selection has begun for the USA team. Riders have until December 1 to apply through the USEF Athlete Dashboard, with at least four horse-and-rider combinations to be chosen for this new continental event featuring both Big and Small Tour competition.
