A local immigration attorney says TPS is automatically extended six months, but warns that agencies like the DMV and law enforcement may not recognize it, leaving families anxious about work, school, and possible detention.
3. The change follows the death of Clermont resident Margaret "Meg" Caldwell outside an Orlando smoke shop, and Orlando-area retailers can expect increased scrutiny as statewide enforcement ramps up.
