A Walk for Lives community fentanyl awareness and remembrance event focused on education, prevention, and hope is being held on Saturday, July 11 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Walt Disney Amphitheater at Lake Eola Park (195 North Rosalind Avenue) in Orlando. The event is being presented by United Against Fentanyl, in partnership with Victoria’s Voice Foundation, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, and the City of Orlando.

Walk for Lives Orlando 2026 will include a community walk around Lake Eola, educational resource vendors, naloxone distribution, personal testimonies from bereaved families, guest speakers, and opportunities for attendees to connect with organizations focused on prevention, recovery, and support services.

Speakers and attendees will include DEA Assistant Administrator Cheri A. Oz, DEA Special Agent in Charge Daniel G. Escobar, Florida State Representatives Doug Bankson and Rita Harris, Longwood City Commissioner and recovery advocate Matt Morgan, and bereaved mothers Gretchin Murray and Heidi Harrell.

The walk is free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged at go.walkforlives.org/FL-Orlando.

Walk for Lives is a national grassroots movement led by United Against Fentanyl, bringing together communities across the U.S. to increase awareness, honor lives lost, and demand decisive action to help end the epidemic of fentanyl.
