Mental Health Association of Central Florida Wins $10,000 Donation

On Tuesday, June 27th, 2017, FamilyWize was honored to donate $10,000 to the Mental Health Association of Central Florida. As the winner of FamilyWize's "Healthy You, Happy Orlando" campaign, which gave Orlando-area residents the opportunity to select between four local charities to receive a $10,000 donation, MHA now has access to additional resources which will aid in their mission to provide mental health support and promote awareness throughout Central Florida.

FamilyWize is a community-based organization that negotiates deep discounts on prescription medication, passing 100 percent of these discounts on to patients.As long-time partners, FamilyWize and MHA have worked together to improve the lives of Orlando residents by providing discounts on medications while also strongly encouraging individuals to reach out for any help that they might need.

FamilyWize's Director of Marketing, Mike Carollo, presented Charlotte Melton, MHA's Vice President, with a check on Tuesday that will allow MHA to continue serving Orlando and surrounding areas by providing resources such as counseling services to people who don't know where to turn.

FamilyWize is committed to honoring impactful organizations such as MHA, and looks forward to seeing how this donation will benefit the Orlando community.
