Palm Beach State College Foundation Announces Appointment of Three New Board Members

ThePalm Beach State College Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Palm Beach State College dedicated to expanding access to higher education and strengthening the community, today announced the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors: Sarah Elwell, Chief Executive Officer of the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches; Dr. Naved Fatmi, D.M.D., FICD, FACD, owner of Health and Wellness Dentistry and former Chair of the Florida Board of Dentistry; and Kenneth R. Kennerly, President & CEO of K2 Sports Ventures and a 37-year veteran of the sports marketing and event management industry.

“We’re so pleased to welcome Sarah, Dr. Fatmi and Kenneth to our Board,” said Ricky Wade, Chair of the Palm Beach State College Foundation Board of Directors. “They each bring a wealth of experience in civic leadership, healthcare and community service, and we know they’ll be tremendous advocates for our students and our mission. We’re excited to have them at the table.”

Sarah Elwell is Chief Executive Officer of the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches, Florida’s largest nonpartisan political and public affairs organization, where she has spent nearly a decade growing it into one of the state’s most respected venues for civil discourse and thought leadership. Each year, she produces a season of programs featuring prominent national and international figures, drawing nearly 800 business executives, elected officials, philanthropists and civic leaders from across South Florida.

Prior to joining the Forum Club, she served as Communications Director to two Members of the U.S. House of Representatives, as Deputy Press Secretary to Florida’s Commissioner of Agriculture, and as a Senior Account Executive at Moore Communications Group. She is a 2026 South Florida Business Journal Influential Businesswomen honoree and the 2023 recipient of the ATHENA Young Professional Award. She holds a master’s degree from Florida State University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, and remains active in Leadership Florida, the Junior League of the Palm Beaches and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County, among other organizations.

Dr. Naved Fatmi is the owner of Health and Wellness Dentistry, operating three practices across Southeast Florida, and has served as an Adjunct Faculty Member at both Palm Beach State College and the Larkin Residency Program in Miami. Appointed to the Florida Board of Dentistry in 2015, Dr. Fatmi chaired multiple committees before serving as Vice Chair (2018 to 2019) and then Chair (2019 to 2020) of the full board. He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentistry (Class of 2019) and the American College of Dentists (Class of 2021) and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida.

Kenneth R. Kennerly, President & CEO of K2 Sports Ventures, is a 37-year veteran of the sports marketing and event management industry, with a career spanning athlete management, corporate consulting, PGA TOUR professional event development and strategic corporate branding. He also serves as Managing Director and Owner of The Palm Beaches Marathon and Executive Vice President of Pro Links Sports, where he oversees two PGA TOUR Champions events, including the James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational in Boca Raton.

Over the course of his career, Kennerly has worked with leading sports marketing firms including ProServ, Advantage International (now Octagon), IGP Sports and Entertainment and IMG. In 2006, he played a pivotal role in revitalizing The Honda Classic, helping grow it into one of the premier events on the PGA TOUR. Kennerly serves on numerous boards including the Palm Beach County Business Development Board, Palm Beach County Sports Commission, the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches and the American Junior Golf Association, among others. A graduate of The Choate School and Dartmouth College and a native of New York City, he resides in Jupiter with his wife Kelly and their two children.
