SIDELINES: Emmett Rosania of the Dragon Institute earns Two-Year Coin (observerlocalnews.com) — Local student-athletes from Flagler Palm Coast and Matanzas turned in strong performances this week, including FPC swimmers placing high at a major meet and Matanzas swimmers winning a relay at the Palm Coast Aquatics Center. Golfers at Palm Harbor Golf Club and a Palm Coast volleyball alum now playing for Georgia also get shoutouts, celebrating the area's growing sports talent.
5. Florida woman kicks deputies, throws 'temper tantrum' during arrest: sheriff's office (snntv.com) — Flagler County deputies arrested a woman in Palm Coast's B-section after a domestic disturbance, saying she kicked an officer while being carried to a patrol car. She was briefly treated at AdventHealth Palm Coast before being booked on domestic battery and battery-on-officer charges, and the sheriff noted this is not her first run-in with deputies.
