Business Closures Emergency Order Amended For Miami-Dade County

Indoor dining is now banned at restaurants, and entertainment venues such as theaters have been ordered to close.

AMENDMENT TO THE EMERGENCY ORDER: Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez signed Amendment 2 to Emergency Order 26-20, prohibiting indoor dining at restaurants in Miami-Dade County effective today, July 8th. On-site dining can only take place outdoors. Only take-out and delivery service may be offered during nightly curfew hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. This amendment also shuts down entertainment venues, including theaters, concert halls, casinos and arcades. Gyms and fitness centers may remain open. Clients must wear masks inside gyms/fitness centers at all times. Amendment 2 also imposes restrictions on short-term vacation rentals.
