County Mayor Extends Countywide Curfew For Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve

The curfew time will begin at 1 a.m. rather than midnight on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31.

The countywide curfew has been extended from 12 am to 1 am on December 24th and December 31, 2020.

Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine-Cava recently issued Amendment #4 to Emergency Order 27-20, allowing for the curfew time to begin at 1 am rather than midnight on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Please remember that the juvenile curfew is currently in effect from Sunday night to Friday morning, between 11 pm and 6 am., and from Friday evening to Sunday morning, between midnight and 6 am.
