Facebook Call: Miami-Dade Man Threatened to Harm Himself
Nathaniel Washington told a friend on Facebook that he wanted to harm himself, but his friend didn't know how to find him.
(Story updated at 12:15 a.m. Friday) NARANJA, FL — A 42-year-old Miami-Dade County man who told a Facebook friend that he wanted to harm himself on Wednesday, has been located. Police asked for the public's help for any information they could use to track down Nathaniel Washington. He was considered endangered.
"Mr. Nathaniel Washington called a friend via Facebook Messenger and told her that he wanted to harm himself," explained the Miami-Dade Police Department. "His current residence is unknown."(Sign up for our free Daily Newsletters and Breaking News Alerts for the Palmetto Bay-Cutler Bay Patch.
Police did not say where Washington was located but he had been known to frequent the Naranja and Goulds areas of Miami-Dade County.
