Palmetto Bay To Begin Issuing Civil Citations To Those In Violation Of Face Mask Mandate

The fines for individuals is $100, while the fine for businesses is $500.

WEAR YOUR MASKS: The Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners unanimously passed an emergency ordinance which includes wearing a mask in public spaces, both indoors and outside, and maintaining strict social distancing applicable to all of Miami-Dade County. So effective immediately, civil citations can and will be issued to individuals ($100 per person) or businesses in violations ($500 for businesses) of the Emergency Order. The Village of Palmetto Bay Police Department will be enforcing this order and issuing citations to violators.
