After much discussion with Miami-Dade County, county officials authorized Palmetto Bay to install 4-way stop signs at the intersection of SW 174th Street and 87th Avenue. The approval came late last night and our team was out there this morning installing the new stop signs. There have been growing safety concerns for both County and Village officials following several car accidents that have occurred at this intersection. The 4-way stop sign is an interim safety measure until a new traffic circle is installed in the future, which is the permanent solution that Miami-Dade County supports.
