The annual State of the Village address takes place on Thursday at Village Hall.

PALMETTO BAY, FL — Mayor Eugene Flynn is scheduled to deliver the Palmetto Bay State of the Village Address on Thursday. The event starts at 6 p.m. at Village Hall. It also coincides with the 15th anniversary of the village's incorporation.
"The event will showcase the accomplishments of this village and its residents over the last 15 years, and before incorporation, featuring special guest speaker and Miami’s premier historian, Dr. Paul George," village officials said.
Officials are planning historical displays, a wall timeline unveiling, music, food and other surprises.
