Lee Roy Selmon's Restaurants honors local legend- Lee Roy Selmon

Lee Roy Selmon’s has partnered with the University of South Florida to raise funds for a special new program – Mentoring U Selmon Style. The program assists
University of South Florida student-athletes in recognizing and reaching their potential by seeking mentorship and support from professional experts and leaders. As the state of Florida recognized October 20th – Mr. Selmon’s Birthday
– as Lee Roy Selmon Day, his namesake restaurants have been honoring the hometown hero through generous donations to the new program at USF. For a limited time, the restaurants will donate a portion of the proceeds from a limited time Legacy Menu, including a new
Chicken and Waffles dish and other Selmon’s classics, to Mentoring U Selmon Style.

“We are honored to partner with the University of South Florida to give back to a special program that was created because of Lee Roy’s vision,” said Lee Roy Selmon’s President Sam Tancredi.

In his time at the University of South Florida, Selmon worked tirelessly to mentor student-athletes and empower these young adults to believe in themselves on and
off the field. Through his example, Mentoring U Selmon Style will continue to influence the lives of future Bulls student-athletes.
