Hundreds of people lined the  for the premiere of Dolphin Tale at  Wednesday.

The event was also a benefit for the , who helped rehabilitate Winter after she was discovered caught in a crabtrap with her tail missing in December 2005.

The movie opens internationally Friday (Sept. 23).
