Best-Selling Author Tim Dorsey at Palm Harbor Library Saturday
The former Tampa Tribune reporter is a popular author of humorous Florida fiction. His latest book, Pineapple Grenade was released in January.
On Saturday, March 24, at 2:00 p.m. New York Times best-selling author Tim Dorsey will speak at the Palm Harbor Library. He will be offering a “totally gonzo presentation reflecting all the weirdness that our state has become known and loved for.” In addition, he will be talking about the true, behind-the-scenes reality of an author’s life and of being on tour! A book signing will follow.
A graduate of Auburn University, Dorsey worked for The Alabama Journal before joining The Tampa Tribune in 1987. There, he held several positions including political reporter and night metro editor before leaving in 1999 to write full time. Dorsey is the author of Florida fiction that has a humorous “twist.” He has published fifteen novels in several languages, including Florida Roadkill, Cadillac Beach and Gator A-Go-Go. His latest book, Pineapple Grenade, went on sale in January. He lives in Tampa with his family.
