So far in the 112 Congress there has been 5,872 bills introduced. Of that number 840 have gotten a hearing. To date 90 bills have been signed by President Obama into law. I would suggest that this level of productivity in any other enterprise would not be acceptable. Yet we actively condone this abject failure by our elected representatives. We must effectively communicate our needs to the entire range of elected officials, there must be positive resolution to this do nothing Congress.
