Celebrating National Dance Day at Arthur Murray Dance Studio
This past month Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Palm Harbor has been very active in promoting National Dance Day.
Lania Berger, the owner of the , has hosted events throughout July in celebration of National Dance Day.
"It's a rewarding feeling that makes me feel so good that people come in here and try dancing and I can help them, especially as someone who grew up dancing," Berger said. "It's so lonely learning dancing alone through methods such as YouTube, and when people come together it allows them to get together and do something fun and enjoyable."
This studio was and gave free lessons this year for National Dance Day.

The Fisher family came all the way from the east coast of Florida for the event this past week and said they wanted a "different kind of dancing experience" for their young daughter who is involved in jazz and contemporary dancing.
Mom Kim Fisher said it was a "great experience" and that she and her kids were "welcomed like family" by the local studio.

The Palm Harbor Arthur Murray dance studio is very involved in charity around the community and hosts the Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind with free dance lessons. A donation box for the cause was present at the National Dance Day event.
The studio also teams up with the and volunteers to give kids free dance lessons. One of their students, Jaelynn Smith, was on hand at this past weekend's celebration and showed her dance moves to the crowd with confidence and finesse.
On Aug. 30, from 7-9. p.m. the Palm Harbor Arthur Murray Dance Studio will hold a Back to School Party as a benefit for a third-grade classroom at .
