Citrus Festival Carnival Opens Thursday
On Wednesday, workers put the finishing touches on rides, arcade and booths at the Citrus Festival in Palm Harbor for the event's opening Thursday at 5pm.
Late Wednesday afternoon, stuffed animals far outnumbered workers as construction crews set up for the Citrus Festival, which opens today in Old Downtown Palm Harbor.
The site of the Citrus Festival was eerily quiet under a sun-spashed afternoon. There was no smell of cooking sausages or corn dogs, the rides were empty and the grounds were void of people having fun; the only thing you could see was roughly a dozen workers. But, that will all change at 5pm Thursday when the carnival opens, kicking off this year's Citrus Festival. See you there!
