Commission Okays Lighting for Sunderman, Putnam Fields
The nearly $1 million project, funded by Penny for Pinellas, will provide for lights on courts and playing fields.
The Pinellas County Commission has approved a funding agreement that will help the Palm Harbor Community Services Agency (PHCSA) install lights at the Sunderman Athletic Complex and Putnam Park.
The nearly $1 million project, funded by Penny for Pinellas, will provide for lights on courts and playing fields.
- At Sunderman Park, lights will be installed on six baseball fields, one multi-purpose field, two batting cages and multiple sand volleyball courts.
- At Putnam Park, lights will be installed on four baseball fields, one multi-purpose field and two tennis courts.
CSA Palm Harbor, the management entity governed by PHCSA, will be responsible for operation and maintenance of the lights.

In addition, lighting for the Palm Harbor Athletic Field will be funded by Pinellas County's Unincorporated Recreation Fields Project, part of the Capital Improvement Program Six Year Work Plan.
