Community Center a Budget Friendly Option for Holiday Parties & Events

You may already know about the many programs offered at the Palm Harbor Community Activity Center. But here's something you may not know, you can also host a party or event there and help support the center at the same time.

"As a publicly and self-funded facility, the Community Activity Center is here to serve the needs of the community," said Erica Lynford, Palm Harbor Parks and Recreation Director. 

"We offer an array of space sizes, a commercial kitchen, ample parking and a convenient location, all at prices much less than other facilities. Plus, Community Activity Center rental fees go to support the facility."

Some of the recent events held at the center include a bingo fundraiser, Halloween trick-or-treating and a graduation party.

The Community Activity Center main hall has over 4,462 square feet with high ceilings and ambient lighting to accommodate more than 250 guests, with generous space for dancing. A raised stage can accommodate setups ranging from a full head table to an orchestra or meeting rostrum. The room can also accommodate up to 500 people, with auditorium-style seating.

There are other rooms available at the Community Activity Center with sizes ranging from 360 to 900 sq ft.
