Concert Will Benefit the Homeless

Tickets are now on sale for "Tapestry Tampa Bay", a concert conducted by Palm Harbor maestro Stephen P. Brown that will benefit Clearwater's Homeless Emergency Project.

Palm Harbor maestro Stephen P Brown plans to debut a piece of music about our area that he composed called "Tapestry Tampa Bay". Brown will conduct the piece during an upcoming concert which will benefit the Clearwater-based Homeless Emergency Project (HEP). Brown is the Principal Conductor of Tampa's Patel Conservatory Youth Orchestra.

The Homeless Emergency Project works with Everybody's Tabernacle by using music to help fulfill the spiritual needs of the 360 people who stay at the homeless shelter each night.

 “We are grateful to Maestro Brown for presenting us with this unique opportunity,” said Barb Green, HEP President & CEO.

“The funds will help support the myriad of programs we provide to men, women, and children in need, including housing, food, clothing, childcare, dental service, and transportation.”'

The concert will be held Friday, March 23 at Harborside Christian Church which is located at 2200 Marshall St. in Safety Harbor. Advance tickets are $17.50. Tickets purchased on the day of performance will cost $20. For more information go to www.TapestryTampaBay.com to or call (973) 531-7199.
