Corner Bakery Cafe Could Be Coming to Palm Harbor

The Chicago-born chain of breakfast-lunch restaurants is scouting locations for its first Tampa Bay area opening, and Palm Harbor is on the list.

Corner Bakery Cafe may be coming to the Palm Harbor area soon.

That's according to a recent Tampa Bay Times article that says the 130-store national franchise of "Panera Bakery clones" is scouting Palm Harbor as a possibility for its first store in the Tampa Bay area. The local franchisee, Yum & Chill Restaurant Group, has signed a deal to open 10 of the fast casual restaurants in the area in the next five to seven years, the Times reports.
