Curlew Hills to Honor Veterans with Service Friday
Curlew Hills Memory Gardens will host a free Veterans' Day Service at 10 a.m. Friday.
WFLA radio and Vietnam Veteran, Jack Harris will be the special guest speaker at Curlew Hills Memory Garden's 24th Annual Veterans' Day Service. Local religious, political and military leaders will also speak during the ceremony.
Last weekend, local Boy Scouts helped Curlew Hills staff prepare for the service by placing flags on military graves.
Friday's service is free and is open to the public. Complimentary refreshments will also be served. The service begins at 10 a.m.
