Debby Damages Steps at Crystal Beach

High tide and rough seas caused by Tropical Storm Debby washed away part of the tiered steps leading down to the sandy beach. 

On Wednesday, bright orange cones marked a depression near the steps, to keep people from falling in the hole. Sea grass covered much of the beach Wednesday afternoon.

There is a high risk for rip currents Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
