Update: Roadways Flooded as Debby Soaks Palm Harbor
Rough seas, gusting winds and a good drenching. Tropical Storm Debby makes her presence known in Palm Harbor on Sunday.

Update, 6:54 p.m.:
Swift, running water is flowing over some local roadways in the wake of heavy rainfall from Tropical Storm Debby, Palm Harbor Fire Rescue officials warned Sunday evening.
The flooding was reported on Lake St. George Drive just north of Tampa Road and Alternate US 19 North at Tampa road, officials said.

Additional road flooding can be expected due to the ongoing heavy rainfall, Pinellas County officials said. Motorists are asked to excecise extreme caution while driving and should not attempt to drive through standing water of an unknown depth.

Tropical Storm Debby is on a path for Louisiana, but it does not feel that way today across Pinellas County.
The forecast calls for rain and isolated thunderstorms, with highs in the mid 80s. Chance of rain is near 100 percent, with wind gusts up to 25 mph.
Monday will be slightly better, with the temperatures in the 80s and an 80 percent chance of rain.
Tropical Storm Debby is the fourth named weather system of the season. This is the first time four tropical storms have occurred prior to July 1 since records have been kept.
