Denny and Heath: A True Southern Gentleman, Plus a Feline Ton of Fun

Palm Harbor Patch is proud to help the Suncoast Animal League find a forever home for these great pets.

"Woowf, y'all!"

Denny is an 11 month old Catahoula Leopard-Hound Dog mix, which makes him a true southern gentleman.

He's a fun young dog who's very playful and energetic.  He likes kids, but he doesn't realize how big he is sometimes, so we're going to suggest that he shouldn't go to a home with toddlers because he may accidentally knock them over when he's excited. They're also the perfect height for a constant stream of sloppy wet kisses that might not always be welcome.  He means well, but he's just bursting with love.

Catahoulas are highly intelligent, protective and energetic and need lots of exercise, socialization and training.

Denny gets along well with some dogs, but not all, so he'll need to meet any fuzzy family members before you adopt him.  We haven't tested him with cats yet.

Heath is a five month-old tuxedo kitten who has been living with a foster family since he was a bottle-fed newborn. He's fantastic, so it's very surprising that he hasn't found his forever home yet!

He's a very smart kitty, who's affectionate has a calm, sweet personality, but is also a TON of fun.

He's one of those rare cats who will play fetch with you, like a dog!  He also plays well with other animals.  If he has to entertain himself, he'll toss his little foam ball in the air for himself, will play with toy mice, in paper bags, or will scratch on a curved scratching board.  When he finds his forever home, his foster family plans to send a suitcase of his favorite toys with him.

His foster family has other pets, so he respects large cats and actually likes big dogs.

Heath is still living with a foster family, so to make an appt to meet him, please call the Suncoast Animal League office at 727-786-1330. We’re located at 1030 Pennsylvania Ave, Palm Harbor, Fl, 34683
