Details for 9/11 Memorial Unveiling Released

Media Personality, Jack Harris will be the Master of Ceremonies at the September 11th Memorial Ceremony.

Palm Harbor Fire Rescue Fire Chief, James Angle, and Curlew Hills Memory Gardens Director, Keenan Knopke have announced details about the unveiling of a 9/11 Monument, which is under construction at Curlew Hills Memory Garden. The monument will be unveiled to the public during the North Pinellas 2012 September 11th Memorial Ceremony.

In 2011, Director Knopke made a generous offer to build and sustain a 9/11 Monument of remembrance to encase a 150 lb piece of steel beam that the Palm Harbor Fire Department acquired through the New York Port Authority, WTC Tower remnants. 

Guest Speakers at the September 11th Memorial Ceremony will include Media Personality Jack Harris as the Master of Ceremonies, FDNY Battalion Chief Michael Gala Jr., Chief of Personnel and Florida State Fire Marshal, Julius Halas, Florida Department of Financial Services.

Additional appearances by the Palm Harbor Fire Rescue Honor Guard Presentation of Colors, Pinellas County Pipes and Drums Band, the United States Coast Guard Fly Over and National Anthem sung by the Ozona Elementary School Choir.
