Detectives Say Dispute Preceded Deadly Shooting
Investigators say shooting at a Palm Harbor residence was not a random act.

Detectives with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office say the victim of a deadly shooting at a Palm Harbor Home was involved in some sort of altercation before he was shot.
Investigators are now trying to piece together the chain of events that led to the death ofΒ 66 year-old Eduardo Quesada. They say the shooting was not a random act.
Deputies responded to a 911 call at 4002 Poinciana Court about an armed person around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. When they arrived, they found Quesada had received a gunshot wound to the upper body. HeΒ was taken by ambulance to Mease Countryside Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 4:14 p.m.

Deputies say they recovered the gun at the scene. There was another person in the residence at the time of the shooting and the shooting victim and this person knew each other. Investigators have interviewed the person who was in the home. No one has been charged at this time.
