They say Reid woke up about 8 a.m. Friday, July 13, washed a load of laundry and then told her husband she was going for a swim in the pool. Joseph Reid found her floating face down in the pool around 9 a.m.. He pulled her out of the pool and dialed 911, according to deputies.
East Lake Fire Rescue crews responded to the home, which is in the Briarwick subdivision in the community of Ridgemoor. Reid was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner's office will determine the cause of her death.
