Election Day: No Problems Reported at Polls
Voting is going smoothly at polling places in Palm Harbor, according to election officials.
So far, so good. Election officials report that voting is going smoothly and there are no snags at polling sites in Palm Harbor. There are 20 voting precincts in our community.
With everything going as planned, election officials are looking forward to learning voter turnout.Β
"We're waiting to hear how turnout is at the polls," said Nancy Whitlock, communications director at Pinellas County's Department of Elections.

Whitlock says even though the weather is nice, it might not be much of a factor when it comes to voter turnout. Determination might be a bigger factor: "Usually people will get out to vote if they want to," she said.
Polls are open until 7 tonight.
