Opera: Mozart's "Abduction from the Seraglio"

The New Century Opera presents Mozart’s "Abduction from the Seraglio," composed during one of the happiest periods of Mozart's life. The story involves the joyousness of love triumphant, as the young Spanish nobleman Belmonte travels to a Turkish harem to rescue his beloved Constanza and her maid, who have been captured. Sung in English at the Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center.
